Alyssa: Viv flew down this morning and it seemed like she brought Sydney weather with her because it was raining cats and dogs!
Viv's Melbourne visit started with a trip to the visitor's information centre across the road. After stocking up on information brochures together with my lonely planet's guide to Melbourne (a departing gift from my Sydney colleagues)I'm sure Viv's visit this week will cover every corner of Melbourne. So far she's getting to know my apartment very well - having already raided my fridge and snack cupboard. I would've given Viv an orientation tour of the city had it not been for the weather (so not indicative of Melbourne weather - really!) So we've spent the good part of this afternoon snacking and watching a marathon of Sex and the City dvds whilst Yung was happily in in his corner of the world shooting demons on the play station.
