Alyssa: I officially finished up work in Sydney on Friday,11 February, and then took a detour up to the Gold Coast for some sibling bonding & sunshine with my 19 year old sister, Vivian, my 9 year old brother, Aaron, and my bachelor uncle (to babysit the other two). I suppose going to theme parks such as Movie World, Wet n' Wild and Sea World would have been more enjoyable if:
(a) you haven't passed puberty;and
(b)you're not scared to go on a roller coaster ride.
But when you're going on such a holiday with those who get nightmares after riding in a cable car that wasn't an official ride but rather a mode of transport for sightseeing, then a 6 day holiday becomes very, very long. Nevertheless, I did manage to soak in as much sunshine and warm weather as possible before joining Yung in Melbourne on Sunday night.
Yung & I are heading over to Hong Kong this week to stock up on winter coats and jackets before we officially settle in to Melbourne.
