Hello Everybody !!My name is Matthew Marcus Ngo. I was born today the 1st July at 4.52pm and right on 39 weeks. I weigh 3.66kgs/ 8.1lbs. The nurses haven't measured me up yet, but when I stretch, I am long !!
Mummy was just awesome today, she had to endure about 8 hrs of labour, and kept pushing and pushing. The Doctor called her a "legend", but I just think she is simply awesome. At the end though, because I was in a bit of a transverse position (woo big words for a 1 day old don't ya think ?) they had to use a vacuum to help get me out. I was pretty sleepy at the time, and didn't like this at all, but Daddy said I was a very brave little baby.
Mummy and I are both doing great. She is trying to get some well deserved rest now, so I'll try not to disturb her too much, but I must admit I'm getting pretty hungry already.
So who do you think I look like ? A cutie like my mummy or spunky like my daddy ? They both are not quite sure. Of course, that's because I think I look a little like both of them. One thing for sure though, I think I got daddy's wavy hair !!
I'm so excited, I can't wait to get home with my Mummy and Daddy !!

Omigosh his ADORALBLE!!!!!! 8lbs?!?!? Must be all that gourmet 5-star foods you were feeding him... heck I wouldn't want to leave your tummy either... no all he'll get is boring milk!!

welcome to the world little man. You do have long legs and arms, and us parents know what comes with the first nappy - dark 'content'. Can't tell yet if Matthew takes look from mum or dad so keep the pics posted so we can check progress. Drink up little man because you will need all your strengths to keep up with the cousins !!
