Alyssa: Both Yung and I were up in Sydney for work on Friday last week so we took the opportunity to stay over for the weekend to catch up with family and friends. We're pleased to see that not much has changed in Sydney. Traffic is still atrocious - I think Sydneysiders need another mode of transport to get incompetent drivers off the road. Maybe trams with no ticket inspectors? It's working really well down here in Melbourne. The warmer weather in Sydney is a sore reminder of our trade-off. And of course our family and friends. But we sure tried to make the most of our short visit and got to catch up with Trevor and Susan over an exquisite meal at Azuma (still my favourite Japanese restaurant). I was too busy eating and so I totally missed out on any kodak moments - especially of Susan's expanding belly! Can't wait to see the arrival of Au-Yeung junior! Friday night we caught up for dinner with our buddies Thao & Khanh and Vu & Annie at Quay restaurant. The place has fantastic panoramic views of the harbour and the opera house, and a price tag to go with it! But I have to admit, the food was amazing. We celebrated a belated mother's day dinner with the Ngo family on Saturday night and caught up with my folks that same day. All of this over a 2 day weekend. If only every other weekend was like this.
