movies and chocolate beers

Alyssa: Ever since we've discovered that our local Video Ezy store offers new release DVD movies for $2, we've been spending a lot of nights in catching up on past movies and indulging in pop corn and chocolate beers! Occasionally we entertain the thought of exercising but have never quite got around to doing any (the movies and chocolate beers always seem to be a better alternative!).

This weekend, Yung & I took a trip to the open plain zoo in Melbourne figuring it would be the closest we'll ever get to an African safari. At the zoo, we boarded a semi opened safari bus and was driven around the zoo observing bored looking animals - they weren't caged the traditional way, but they didn't look at all that excited about their preceived freedom to roam either. 50 minutes later on the safari bus, I think both Yung and I looked just as bored as the animals we observed. Maybe next time, we should just stick to watching the Discovery channel as the program probably edited a lot of the grazing and lazing around that the animals seem to be doing a lot of and none of the running around that you tend to see on tv.
